Job summary

Compass Health Center is seeking an experienced Creative Art Therapist to deliver evidence-based therapy to Adults and Young Adults with anxiety and mood disorders in our Chicago-area program. You will facilitate general skills groups, process groups, and creative art therapy sessions, coordinating practices and individual treatment plans as needed.

Ideal candidates hold a Master’s or PhD in the Creative Arts, and ATR or BC-DMT certification, with licensure preferred (LPC/LCPC/LSW/LCSW).

Qualifications

• Master’s or PhD in the Creative Arts required.
• ATR or BC-DMT certification required.
• License preferred (LPC, LCPC, LSW or LCSW).
• Experience with CBT/DBT in group and individual art therapy settings.

Responsibilities

• Develop CBT/DBT skills curricula and facilitate groups.
• Consult with treatment team on goals and ethics.
• Develop and facilitate Creative Art Therapy curricula.
• Ensure safe, organized art materials and supplies.
• Document in the EHR with ethics, storage, and consent considerations.
