Job summary

Full Sail University is seeking a Career Development Advisor to guide students and graduates through policy guidance, portfolio development, and job-search activities within the Career Development Department.

You will meet with candidates, conduct interviews, and help with resumes, portfolios, and interview skills, while coordinating employer outreach and maintaining records for accreditation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Knowledge of the Animation and 3D Arts industry is required.
• Some human resource experience is helpful.
• Proficiency with MS Office and online collaboration tools.

Responsibilities

• Advises students/graduates in policies and procedures of the Career Development Department.
• Meets with students/graduates in Career Advisory Interviews.
• Educates and assists candidate graduates with career search practices, including portfolio reviews, resume/cover letter review, and interview skills.
• Coordinates graduate portfolios and resumes to appropriate employer leads.
• Documents all conversations (personal, phone, email, text, social media).
• Provides accurate statistical information for accreditation.
• Develops outreach practices to assist graduate networking.
• May attend industry-related events and presentations.
