We’re looking for a Creative Strategist who deeply understands how to blend breakthrough advertising, storytelling, and performance marketing. This is not just about making beautiful campaigns — it’s about making ads that grab attention, convert, and tell a story that resonates with audiences at scale.
What will you do
- Develop strategic concepts for ad campaigns that balance storytelling with conversion-driven messaging, tailored to each platform and audience.
- Use audience research and insights to craft messages that deeply resonate. Translate consumer data and behavioral signals into compelling creative angles.
- Generate breakthrough ideas for performance-driven ads (direct response, lead gen, ecommerce, etc) with strong hooks, value propositions, and clear calls to action.
- Apply narrative structures and copywriting techniques that captivate viewers and drive them through the funnel (awareness → consideration → action).
- Brief and partner with copywriters, designers, video editors, and media buyers to ensure creative output aligns with strategy and performance goals.
- Analyze performance data (CTR, CVR, ROAS, etc) to identify creative wins, losses, and opportunities for iteration. Champion a test-and-learn mindset across campaigns.
- Proven experience as a Creative Strategist, Copywriter or in a similar role in digital marketing, performance marketing, or advertising.
- Solid understanding of paid social platforms (Meta Ads, TikTok Ads, YouTube, etc) and how creative impacts performance.
- Strong background in storytelling, consumer psychology, and conversion-focused messaging.
- Familiarity with direct response marketing principles and frameworks like Breakthrough Advertising, Hook/Story/Offer, etc.
- Ability to turn performance data into actionable creative insights.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to write or oversee high-converting copy.
- Experience collaborating with design, copy, and media teams.
- Proactive, analytical, and not afraid to push creative boundaries while staying data-driven.
Nice-to-haves:
- Background in performance creative production (e.g., scripting, storyboarding, concepting for UGC or video ads).
- Experience working in fast-paced growth environments (DTC brands, agencies, startups, etc).
- Knowledge of growth marketing, funnel optimization, or media buying metrics.
