Wellington Rehabilitation & Healthcare in North Carolina is seeking a Community Life - Activities Assistant (Therapeutic Recreational Assistant) to enhance resident well-being through engaging activities. Responsibilities include assisting with activities, assessments, and creating activity profiles, with opportunities to shape the program.

This role emphasizes compassion, teamwork, and dependable scheduling, with shifts across mornings, afternoons, and nights.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
• Experience in providing recreational services in healthcare is preferred.
• Must hold a valid driver's license.
• Must be compassionate, dedicated and committed to high-quality service.

Responsibilities

• Assist with resident activities, assessments and development of activity profiles.
• Schedule and organize recreational activities such as movie screenings, games, parties and crafts.
• Encourage resident participation in social, recreational and therapeutic activities.
• Support the Community Life Director in expanding services and implementing new ideas.
• Contribute to improving systems and processes that enhance resident experiences.
