Qualifications

• Provisionally Certified Activity Director credential required.
• Certified credential preferred.
• Creative, organized, and comfortable leading groups and one-on-one activities.
• Strong communication, relationship-building, and time-management skills.
• Ability to perform the essential functions of the role, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Plan and lead a varied calendar of individual and group activities.
• Design programs around resident interests, abilities, cultures, and preferences.
• Encourage participation and build meaningful relationships with residents and families.
• Coordinate activity supplies, volunteers, outings, and special events .
• Document participation and collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team.
