Qualifications

• Experience in activities programming or long-term care preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Creative and adaptable to residents' needs.
• Knowledge of infection control and safety procedures.
• Professional, dependable, and team-oriented.
• Able to move throughout the facility and interact with residents empathetically.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and leading individual and group activities.
• Organize and maintain activity supplies.
• Document resident participation and support Resident Council meetings.
• Coordinate evening/weekend events and community programs.
• Conduct room visits and personalized activities.
• Ensure safety and infection control during sessions.
• Collaborate with staff, families, and service providers.
