Job summary

Elkton Nursing & Rehab Center is seeking an Activities Assistant who has experience working with residents with dementia, a highly enthusiastic personality, and the ability to design creative activities for our residents.

You will conduct and assist with activity groups, escort residents to activities, and contribute to planning while presenting a positive image of the organization to residents, co-workers, and the public.

Qualifications

• Experience is preferred.
• High School Graduate or GED.

Responsibilities

• Conducts and/or assists with assignments and assigned activity groups
• One-to-one activities utilizing interpersonal needs to meet resident/client needs
• Provides input and assistance with activity planning
• Escort residents to and from activities
• Projects a positive image of the organization in dealing with residents/clients, co-workers, public
