Job summary

Kemps is seeking skilled machine operators for cheese production, including setting up, sanitizing, and cleaning equipment, as well as running tests and completing PASS sheets. This full-time night shift role offers $30.27 per hour and overtime opportunities.

Responsibilities include blending cheese, making cheese and starter, plus other duties as assigned. Candidates should be able to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and work in a wet, food-production environment.

Qualifications

• Willing to work overtime, weekends, and holidays when needed.

Responsibilities

• Set up equipment and maintain it.
• Sanitize and clean equipment, floors, walls, and ceilings.
• Blend and make cheese and starter.
• Run tests and complete PASS sheets.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Kemps has immediate job openings for well-versed machine operators to perform an array of functions including maintaining, breaking down and setting up equipment and machinery, while troubleshooting and resolving basic to moderate operating issues. A few job responsibilities include setting up equipment, sanitizing equipment, cleaning equipment and floors, walls, ceilings. Blending cheese, make cheese, make starter, other duties as assigned. Running all tests required. Complete PASS sheets, other duties as assigned.

PAY:

• $30.27

SCHEDULE: Monday - Friday, 11:00PM - 7:00AM (8 hour shifts)

*must be able to work overtime

Requirements

Basic math skills

• Comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs. and being on your feet
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Comfortable working in a wet or food production setting
