Job summary

Kemps in Farmington, MN is seeking experienced machine operators for cheese production. You will set up, sanitize, and operate equipment, perform tests, and maintain cleanliness in a wet, food production environment.

This role offers a night shift (11:00 PM–7:00 AM), overtime opportunities, and a pay rate of $30.27 per hour. Benefits include union pension + 401(k), paid vacation & holidays, comprehensive healthcare, career growth, and uniforms provided.

Qualifications

• Basic math skills required.
• Ability to pass pre-employment screenings (drug, background).
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stay on your feet for entire shifts.
• Experience in a wet or food production environment preferred.
• Willingness to work overtime, weekends, or holidays as needed.
• Active, physical work in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Set up equipment and sanitize/clean as required.
• Blend cheese and make starter as part of production.
• Run tests and complete PASS sheets for production runs.
• Perform other duties as assigned by shift supervisor.

JOB SUMMARY

Kemps has immediate job openings for well-versed machine operators to perform an array of functions including maintaining, breaking down and setting up equipment and machinery, while troubleshooting and resolving basic to moderate operating issues. A few job responsibilities include setting up equipment, sanitizing equipment, cleaning equipment and floors, walls, ceilings. Blending cheese, make cheese, make starter, other duties as assigned. Running all tests required. Complete PASS sheets, other duties as assigned.

PAY

• $30.27

SCHEDULE: Monday - Friday, 11:00PM - 7:00AM (8 hour shifts)
