Job summary

Kemps in Farmington, MN is seeking a skilled machine operator to prepare, operate, and maintain cheese production equipment. You will set up and sanitize machinery, monitor processes, run tests, and help ensure product quality.

You must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, work the 11:00 PM–7:00 AM shift, and be comfortable in a wet food-production environment. Overtime, holidays, and weekends may be required; the company offers paid vacation, holidays, uniform provisions, and internal career growth.

Qualifications

• Basic math skills.
• Able to pass pre-employment screenings (drug, background).
• Comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Able to work in a fast-paced, wet food production environment.
• Willing to work overtime, weekends, or holidays.
• Active, physical work including standing and walking.

Responsibilities

• Setting up equipment and machinery for production.
• Sanitizing equipment and cleaning equipment, floors, walls and ceilings.
• Blending cheese, making cheese, and preparing starter cultures.
• Running required tests and completing PASS sheets.
• Other duties as assigned.

Kemps has immediate job openings for well-versed machine operators to perform an array of functions including maintaining, breaking down and setting up equipment and machinery, while troubleshooting and resolving basic to moderate operating issues. A few job responsibilities include setting up equipment, sanitizing equipment, cleaning equipment and floors, walls, ceilings. Blending cheese, make cheese, make starter, other duties as assigned. Running all tests required. Complete PASS sheets, other duties as assigned.

PAY:

• $30.27

SCHEDULE: Monday - Friday, 11:00PM - 7:00AM (8 hour shifts)

*must be able to work overtime
