Deutsche Bank AG in New York is seeking a Commercial Real Estate Risk Officer to manage real estate credit risk for the CRE group. The role involves approvals for on-balance sheet CRE transactions, setting credit limits, negotiating term sheets, and coordinating with senior management.

Responsibilities include analyzing loan terms for stabilized, transitional, construction, conversions and rehab projects, interfacing with business units, and leading internal and external audit coordination as

Qualifications

Extensive commercial real estate credit experience.
Balance sheet lending experience.
Ability to analyze/review highly structured loans.
Experience working with internal and external auditors.
Proven ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity and workflows.

Responsibilities

Analyze and recommend credit approvals/declines for CRE transactions.
Act as intermediary between Business units, heads and credit committees.
Monitor portfolio and market developments in CRE and related sectors.
Prepare credit reports and due diligence documentation supporting DB strategy.
Monitor existing portfolio, sponsor/guarantor capacity, watchlist credits and impairment memoranda.
Maintain data integrity in IT systems and support audit/regulatory interactions.
