Job summary

Lowndes seeks an experienced Commercial Real Estate Paralegal to support attorneys in Melbourne, FL, with 3+ years of law firm experience. The role includes due diligence, document preparation, and closing coordination, working independently within established procedures.

Travel to the Vero Beach office once per week is expected as part of coordinating all aspects of commercial closings with lenders, title companies, surveyors, and clients.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of law firm experience
• Experience with commercial real estate transactions preferred
• Ability to manage multiple matters independently

Responsibilities

• Draft and revise commercial purchase and sale agreements, amendments, assignments, and closing documents
• Review title commitments, exceptions, and surveys; prepare title objections and cure matters
• Prepare closing statements, escrow schedules, closing checklists, and lender packages
• Coordinate closings with lenders, title companies, surveyors, and clients
• Assist with easements, declarations, cost-sharing, access agreements, and development documents
• Oversee post-closing tasks including recording and title policy follow-up
• Maintain transaction timelines and manage multiple CRE matters
