Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL) is offering a Leasing Advisory Intern position in Portland, OR, onsite for a summer internship.

You will support senior brokers with business development, market research, materials prep, and CRM usage, gaining exposure to the CRE lifecycle.

The program emphasizes hands-on learning, teamwork, and readiness for a broker career; eligible candidates must have U.S. work authorization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent completed.
• Previous internship experience in a professional environment.
• Permanent US work authorization.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Strong analytical and time-management skills.
• Interest in pursuing a career path as a commissioned Broker.

Responsibilities

• Support senior brokers with business development by initiating outreach to new leads, managing prospect data, and organizing historical client activity.
• Gather and evaluate economic, demographic, and real estate market data to assist with client deliverables and presentations.
• Assist with the preparation of offering materials, pitch decks, and other presentations for new business pursuits.
• Read, review, and abstract real estate documents such as leases and operating expense statements for clients.
• Create and use sophisticated Excel‑based analytical tools and financial models for ad‑hoc analysis.
• Shadow senior brokers in transaction negotiations, evaluations, and documentation.
• Serve as a technology champion, promoting and supporting the use of JLL's brokerage software and CRM programs.
