Job summary

Colliers Indianapolis is seeking a Financial Analyst to support investment sales and equity-raising across industrial, office, and retail properties in the Midwest. You will underwrite acquisitions and disposals, build property-level cash flow projections in ARGUS and Excel, and translate findings into clear recommendations.

You’ll collaborate with senior analysts, assist in client meetings, coordinate with lenders and attorneys, and help develop market-supported assumptions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, Economics or related area.
• 2–4 years of experience in commercial real estate, capital markets or corporate finance.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel with cash flow modelling and in-depth financial analysis.
• ARGUS experience preferred.
• Commercial real estate experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support investment sales and equity-raising assignments across industrial, office, and retail properties in the Midwest.
• Underwrite acquisitions, dispositions, and development opportunities with property-level cash flow projections and pro formas.
• Assist with equity capital raises and joint venture analyses, including sources and uses and investor returns.
• Analyze rent rolls, leases, budgets, and operating statements to develop underwriting assumptions.
• Collaborate with senior analysts, clients, lenders, and attorneys to collect information and validate data.
• Leverage AI and technology to improve research, reporting, and workflows while maintaining confidentiality.
