Job summary

The Inland Real Estate Group of Companies, Inc. seeks a Financial Analyst to support the Asset Management team in validating property performance, preparing analyses, and aiding investment decisions across a diversified real estate portfolio.

You will build financial models, monitor budgets, and deliver dashboards for leadership review. You will work with asset managers, accounting, operations, and acquisitions to drive value creation, while developing core expertise in NOI, IRR, DCF, and

Qualifications

• Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Intermediate Excel skills, including spreadsheets, formulas, and financial analysis.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assisting Asset Managers with financial analysis and strategic projects.
• Reviewing annual operating and capital budgets, including revenue, expense, and capital expenditure projections.
• Creating and maintaining financial models and cost‑benefit analyses for capital improvement and property enhancement projects.
• Monitoring the progress of capital expenditure (CapEx) and value‑add initiatives.
• Analyzing monthly and quarterly property operating results against budgets and investment projections.
• Preparing hold versus sell analyses to support investment decisions.
• Supporting property dispositions through due diligence coordination, transaction management, and broker information requests.
• Developing reports, spreadsheets, and dashboards that track key portfolio performance metrics.
• Collaborating with teams across asset management, property management, accounting, operations, and acquisitions
