Job summary

Trustmark Bank is seeking a CRE Draw Specialist II to review complex CRE draw submissions and manage the disbursement process for construction loans. You will coordinate with lenders, borrowers, inspectors, and title companies to maintain progress, budget integrity, and risk control.

You will validate draw requests against completed work, monitor budgets and milestones, and ensure timely funding in accordance with loan documents and bank policy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Finance, Accounting, Real Estate, Construction Management or related field.
• 3 years experience in reviewing CRE construction draws within a banking or commercial lending environment.
• Knowledge of commercial lending procedures and basic accounting/mathematical skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Teams, Outlook, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Review complex CRE draw submissions and ensure alignment with approved budgets and equity contributions.
• Collect and organize required documentation such as inspection reports, invoices, lien waivers, change orders, and certificates.
• Validate draw requests against completed work and inspection results to prevent over-funding.
• Identify and resolve post-closing items and ensure timely completion per loan requirements.
• Monitor budgets, milestones, contingency usage, interest reserve, retainage and remaining availability.
• Coordinate with title companies, inspectors, attorneys and internal teams to support draw processing.
• Recommend whether requests should be processed, revised, delayed, or held based on documentation and funding readiness.
• Coordinate disbursements including wires and interest-only payments after approvals.
