Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience within a multifamily CRE brokerage/debt placement team (underwriting, credit).
• Candidates from a CRE brokerage shop are prioritized.
• Strong financial analysis, underwriting, and modeling skills.
• Advanced Excel proficiency; build complex models quickly and accurately.
• Familiarity with multifamily CRE debt products (agency, bridge, balance sheet, structured finance).
• Command of property-level analysis (rent rolls, T-12s, reforecasting, market comps) and borrower financials.

Responsibilities

• Build Excel models: cash flows, waterfalls, debt sizing, sensitivity analysis.
• Lead institutional underwriting of CRE transactions, focusing on multifamily and structured finance.
• Produce lender materials meeting institutional standards.
• Analyze borrower credit, sponsorship quality, and capital structure from a lender perspective.
• Structure transactions across CMBS, banks, debt funds, agencies, and life companies.
• Evaluate market dynamics, pricing, and liquidity trends to inform deal strategy.
