Job summary

First Horizon Bank is seeking a Pro CRE Loan Specialist II to review and close complex commercial real estate loans, ensuring documentation compliance and timely funding. The role focuses on construction lending, term loans and lines of credit, with emphasis on loan closing, draw processing, and risk controls.

The incumbent will coordinate with lenders, borrowers, attorneys, title companies and consultants to ensure all closing documents are accurate, complete and aligned with approvals, while

Qualifications

• Review Commercial Real Estate Loan approvals for deal terms and borrower information.
• Verify loan closing documents are complete and accurate per policy.
• Interface with lenders, borrowers, attorneys, title companies, contractors, consultants and agents to ensure proper documentation for closings and draw requests.
• Maintain compliance with bank and regulatory policies and manage loan exceptions.

Responsibilities

• Review CRE loan approvals and ensure terms align with term sheets and closing documents.
• Coordinate with bank counsel and business lines on loan closing checklists.
• Request and review third-party construction bids and reports; approve upfront and monthly consultant reports.
• Approve draw requests and disburse loan funds per policy within established SLAs.
• Monitor project budgets, track changes, and ensure funds are sufficient to complete the project.
