CRDN Field Inventory Analyst - Columbus, OH (Finance)

A Day in the Life

This field-based role involves executing US CRDN field inventory strategies to meet Service, Inventory, Scrap, Obsolescence, Gains and Losses (SOGL), and Freight goals. It acts as a district liaison for inventory topics between field employees (Sales Reps, Clinical Specialists, District Managers), customers, and internal teams (Global Supply Chain, Distribution, Customer Care, Marketing, Logistics, IT), reporting directly into the US CRDN Field Inventory Analyst organization.

The individual must be analytical, results-oriented, highly organized, and adaptable to changing needs. Cross-training for the cardiovascular clinical specialist role is available, with potential career progression into clinical roles.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  1. Field Inventory Management:
    • Coordinate inventory strategies with internal and external partners daily.
    • Support inventory repositioning, short date management, cycle counts, and accuracy issues.
    • Partner with field teams to ensure optimal product placement for patient and customer experience.
    • Manage Phase-In and Phase-Out activities during product launches.
    • Mobilize inventory to address supply constraints.
    • Collaborate with the supply chain team to meet business objectives.
    • Build trust and credibility with stakeholders.
    • Identify opportunities and develop business cases for improvements.
    • Communicate and execute inventory initiatives with sales teams.
  2. Account Consignment Inventory Management:
    • Monitor and maintain inventory levels at customer accounts.
    • Conduct cycle counts and manage expired or short-dated units.
    • Resolve discrepancies and educate customers on inventory procedures.
    • Maintain relationships with Customer Care and support order fulfillment.
    • Assist with Customer Agreements and Inventory Schedules.
  3. Other Duties:
    • Provide on-call support during evenings and weekends.
    • Travel locally and occasionally overnight or long-distance.
    • Adhere to FDA regulations, SOPs, and quality standards.
    • Stay current on training and product knowledge.
    • Propose process improvements and meet deadlines.
    • Work flexible hours as needed.
Additional Information
  • This role supports the Columbus, Ohio territory; residence near Columbus preferred.
  • Travel is approximately 25-50% for local and overnight trips.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean record.
Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with no experience required.
Nice to Have
  • Problem-solving aptitude, excellent communication, and customer service skills.
  • Experience in supply chain or distribution inventory management.
  • Self-motivated with ability to work remotely and travel.
  • Knowledge of systems like Microsoft Office, Salesforce, mStar.
  • Interest in growing into clinical or sales roles.
  • Certifications such as Six Sigma, CPIM/CSCP are a plus.
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, and organizational skills.
  • Experience in a regulated environment, ideally medical devices.
