Job summary

Wheeler Machinery in Hurricane, UT is seeking a full-time Service Technician to disassemble components, inspect them, and prepare add lists in a timely manner. You’ll help flow jobs through the shop with emphasis on quality across Caterpillar components.

The role requires knowledge of Cat SIS and related components, a safety-minded approach, and the ability to use a toolset up to ¾ drive in standard and metric sizes. 3–4 years of Caterpillar components experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma is required.
• Knowledge of Cat SIS is required.
• Safety oriented and able to work in a shop environment.
• Have all tools up to ¾ drive standard and metric.
• At least 3-4 years of Caterpillar components experience.

Responsibilities

• Inspecting parts and determining reusability.
• Familiarity with SIS and Cat components.
• Quality checking components during assembly.
• Collaborate with others to move jobs through the shop.
• Ordering parts as needed.
• Performs all other duties as assigned.

Wheeler Machinery is seeking to hire a full- time Service Technician in their Hurricane, UT location. Position is to disassemble all components, inspect them and have add list in a timely manner. They will need to be help with the flow of the jobs through the shop with quality in all that they do. They will need to do all these tasks within Cat flat rates.
