Job summary

Wyoming Machinery Company in Casper is seeking an organized office assistant to support service and payroll tasks. You will greet visitors, screen calls, and manage communications, ensuring timely messages and smooth workflow.

Responsibilities include entering technician timecards, reconciling biweekly payroll, handling filing, travel bookings, and basic clerical duties. A high school diploma and proficient computer skills are required to work effectively with customers and staff.

  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Proficient in use of a desktop computer, including Microsoft Office products.
  • Must be able to operate a PC, dealer AS400 computer system, all related software, e-mail, calculator, telephone, fax machine, copy machine, and printer.
  • Ability to work with customers in a professional manner and develop/maintain relationships

  • Perform a variety of general clerical duties including maintaining and filing records, verifying accuracy of information, and recording information.

PHYSICAL/ENVIRONMENTAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Office environment; moderate noise level
  • Material and equipment directly used: Computer terminals, personal computer, calculator, telephone, fax machine, copy machine, and printers.
  • Ability to walk up and down stairs.
  • Frequent sitting/standing for long periods using a computer
  • Frequent use of hands for simple grasping, pushing, pulling, and writing and typing
  • Overtime and varying schedules may be required
  • Professional dress code is required.
