Job summary

MCD Global Health seeks a Senior Program Associate to support Maine CDC’s Chronic Disease Prevention and Control Program, focusing on project facilitation and implementation of the Colorectal Cancer Cooperative Agreement. The role requires collaboration with Maine CDC and MPCA, coordinating evaluation and ensuring program milestones are met.

The position is full-time, hybrid, based in Augusta, Maine, with two onsite days per week and up to three remote days.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in health-related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Exceptional writing and interpersonal communication skills are essential.
• Ability to work collaboratively with diverse project partners, consumers, and providers.
• Ability to work independently and communicate professionally.
• Knowledge of data-driven project management and reporting.
• Familiarity with contract and grant management preferred.

Responsibilities

• Convene monthly CRC Program Meetings and promote best practices.
• Participate in CRCCP meetings, webinars, and conference calls.
• Manage contracts, budgets, and approve invoices per state protocols.
• Assess partner clinics and discuss results and improvements with clinics.
• Develop and monitor EBIs implementation work plans for FQHCs.
• Provide on-going technical assistance and training to clinical sites.
• Coordinate referrals and follow-up processes for eligible patients.
• Support evaluation activities and sustainabiliy planning for EBIs.
