Job summary

Huntington National Bank is seeking a Treasury Management Advisor II to acquire and develop new profitable treasury management relationships, and to retain and deepen existing customer relationships.

You will lead sales efforts, prospect new clients, structure products, prepare proposals, and coordinate with regional partners to drive treasury management opportunities, while mentoring colleagues and contributing to product evolution.

Qualifications

• 3+ years banking experience focusing on treasury management/cash management
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (4+ years in banking/treasury if no degree)
• CTP or other professional designation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop new treasury management relationships and deepen existing ones.
• Prospect clients and present treasury solutions.
• Price products and prepare customer proposals.
• Coordinate with regional partners and relationship managers to drive TM opportunities.
• Cross-sell bank products and monitor competitor offerings.

Summary: The Treasury Management Advisor II acquires and develops new profitable and quality treasury management relationships. Also, retains and deepens existing customer relationships.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Sales
• Prospecting
• Product pricing and structuring
• Customer proposals
• Proactively builds internal relationships with regional partners and relationship managers to drive TM opportunities
• Cross sells other bank products, and stays current on competitor offerings to suggest product improvements
• Proactive management of Banker relationship, including routine 1:1’s, development and execution of relationship plans, pipeline reviews, pre-call plans, partner plans, and joint calling
• Responsible for maintaining and managing to weekly and monthly sales results and ensure the timely entering of weekly data and monitor for accuracy
• Assists in outbound calling initiatives offer new solutions to clients and ensure Huntington as our customer’s primary banking relationship
• May mentor other Treasury Management colleagues
• Responsible for being a positive change agent as Huntington evolves its products and strategies
• Performs other duties as assigned

Basic Qualifications

• Three or more years banking experience with a focus on treasury management/cash management
• Bachelor’s Degree or the equivalent experience of 4 or more years in banking and/or Treasury Management in lieu of degree

Preferred Qualifications

• Exceptional Verbal and Written Communication Skills
• Three or more years of Treasury Management Experience
• CTP or other professional designation
