Job summary

Huntington National Bank in Baton Rouge is seeking a Treasury Management Advisor II to grow and deepen treasury management relationships while retaining existing clients. You will lead sales efforts, prospect new customers, price and structure solutions, and prepare proposals.

Collaborating with regional partners and relationship managers, you will drive TM opportunities, cross-sell products, and mentor Treasury Management colleagues as Huntington evolves its offerings.

Qualifications

• Three or more years banking experience with a focus on treasury management/cash management
• Bachelor’s Degree or the equivalent experience of 4 or more years in banking and/or Treasury Management in lieu of degree

Responsibilities

• Drive sales and development of treasury management relationships
• Prospect new clients and manage proposals
• Structure product pricing and proposals for customers
• Proactively build internal relationships with regional partners and relationship managers
• Cross-sell other bank products and stay current on competitor offerings
• Manage Banker relationships with routine 1:1s and pipeline reviews
• Enter weekly data accurately and monitor sales results
• Assist outbound calling initiatives and promote Huntington as primary banking relationship
• Mentor other Treasury Management colleagues as needed
• Contribute to positive change as Huntington evolves its products and strategies
• Perform other duties as assigned

Summary:The Treasury Management Advisor II acquires and develops new profitable and quality treasury management relationships. Also, retains and deepens existing customer relationships.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Sales

• Prospecting

• Product pricing and structuring

• Customer proposals

• Proactively builds internal relationships with regional partners and relationship managers to drive TM opportunities

• Cross sells other bank products, and stays current on competitor offerings to suggest product improvements

• Proactive management of Banker relationship, including routine 1:1’s, development and execution of relationship plans, pipeline reviews, pre-call plans, partner plans, and joint calling

• Responsible for maintaining and managing to weekly and monthly sales results and ensure the timely entering of weekly data and monitor for accuracy

• Assists in outbound calling initiatives offer new solutions to clients and ensure Huntington as our customer’s primary banking relationship

• May mentor other Treasury Management colleagues

• Responsible for being a positive change agent as Huntington evolves its products and strategies

• Performs other duties as assigned

Basic Qualifications:

• Three or more years banking experience with a focus on treasury management/cash management

• Bachelor’s Degree or the equivalent experience of 4 or more years in banking and/or Treasury Management in lieu of degree

Preferred Qualifications:

• Exceptional Verbal and Written Communication Skills

• Three or more years of Treasury Management Experience

• CTP or other professional designation
