Job summary

AEVEX Aerospace is seeking a Warehouse Material Handler specializing in crating finished products. The role focuses on creating custom shipping crates, crate kits, and palletizing oversized equipment, ensuring crates leave the facility in pristine condition.

The ideal candidate has at least two years in a warehouse setting, a valid in-state driver's license, and forklift certification. Proficiency with hand and power tools and basic carpentry is preferred for crate assembly.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Two years of warehouse or manufacturing experience is required.
• Forklift certification and in-state driver's license are required.
• Basic math and carpentry skills are preferred.
• Ability to operate hand and power tools as needed.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational and detail-oriented skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Pack and crate aviation equipment for domestic and international shipments.
• Apply shipping documents and labels to outbound shipments.
• Follow packaging procedures to ensure safe shipments and unit cleanliness.
• Measure, cut wood, and assemble crates for oversized items.
• Pack orders and build crates as required by shipment needs.
• Maintain inventory of lumber, fasteners, and packing materials.
• Operate forklift to move shipments to crating area.
