AEVEX Aerospace in Tampa, FL seeks a Material Handling and Crating Specialist (Temp) to crate oversized aviation equipment. You will build crates, measure materials, label shipments, and ensure crates leave the facility in pristine condition.

Duties include inventory control, packing, boxing, and forklift operation in a fast-paced environment. Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma or GED, 2 years in warehousing, a valid Florida driver’s license, and the ability to obtain a DoD

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED.
• Two years of warehouse/manufacturing experience.
• Valid in-state driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Ability to obtain/maintain a Secret DoD clearance.
• Knowledge of safe operation of basic power tools (saws, drills, compressors).
• Able to operate forklift and complete internal training.

Responsabilités

• Pack and crate aviation equipment for domestic and international shipping.
• Apply shipping docs and labels to outbound shipments.
• Follow crate procedures and measure, weigh, and cube boxes.
• Cut wood and assemble crates for nonstandard/oversized items.
• Pack orders and build boxing/crating as required per guidelines.
• Maintain inventory of lumber, fasteners, and materials.
• Unpack and verify incoming parts and materials.
