Job summary

CDF Distributors is seeking a Warehouse Crating Associate to join our shipping team. You will build wooden crates, measure materials, and securely wrap and prepare orders for shipment. The role includes forklift operation, inventory handling, and documenting outgoing orders in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to stand for entire shift.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must have a valid driver's license and be authorized to work in the US.

Responsibilities

• Measure and cut wood to build crates for shipping orders.
• Use hand tools as needed in crate construction.
• Wrap and package orders securely to prevent damage during shipping.
• Move pallets/crates with a forklift.
• Pull hardware to prepare for shipment.
• Photograph all outgoing orders.
• Maintain a clean, professional, and safe work area.
• Assist in other departments as needed.
• Have excellent attendance and be on time every day.

Warehouse Crating Associate

Our company offers a competitive salary, paid time off and excellent benefits, including FREE Medical insurance for our employees! Shifts are Monday - Friday, daytime only. Approximate schedule: 6 am to 2:30 pm. Some overtime may be required. Overtime pay at 1.5 times the hourly rate.

We are looking for the right individual to work in our shipping department, handling a variety of functions! The warehouse is not climate controlled, but we do have fans. This employee will:

• measure and cut wood to build wood crates for shipping orders
• use hand tools
• wrap and package orders securely to avoid damages in shipping
• move pallets/crates with a forklift
• Pull hardware to prepare for shipment
• Photograph all outgoing orders
• maintain a clean, professional, and safe working area
• assist in other departments as needed
