Job summary

Owensville, MO-based Jahabow is seeking Crate Techs for full-time work in packaging and crating finished goods for major retailers. Salary is $16 per hour with a 7:00am-3:30pm shift, Mon–Fri, and OT & Saturdays as needed.

You will use hand and power tools to prepare materials and crates, ensure accuracy, and maintain a clean workspace. The role emphasizes safety, quality, and teamwork, with opportunities to contribute to packaging solutions that protect products during transit.

Qualifications

• Experience using hand tools, power tools, and packaging staplers.
• Ability to stand and walk for most of the workday.
• Ability to lift over 40 lbs safely.
• Must pass a tape measure test for accuracy.
• Ability to follow instructions from supervisors.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all shipping materials (boxes, labels, packing supplies) are ready and available
• Clean and wipe down units before crating
• Crate/package units per specifications on the job sheets
• Work closely with the Quality Department to resolve any product issues before crating
• Communicate any product flaws or damage to your supervisor
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area

What You'll Do
