Job summary

Jahabow in Owensville, MO is seeking a skilled Crate Tech to support packaging and shipping of display cases and millwork for major retailers. This full-time role runs 7:00am–3:30pm, Monday through Friday, with overtime and occasional Saturday work.

You will prepare materials, crate units to spec, and work with the Quality Department to resolve issues. Ideal candidates are comfortable using hand and power tools, can lift up to 40 lbs, stand for long periods, and follow supervisor instructions.

Qualifications

• Experience using hand tools and power tools.
• Ability to lift over 40 lbs safely.
• Must pass a tape measure test for accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all shipping materials are ready and available.
• Crate/package units per job sheets.
• Work with Quality Department to resolve product issues before crating.
• Communicate product flaws or damage to supervisor.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.

Owensville, MO | $16 per hour | Full-Time, 7:00am-3:30pm, Mon-Fri, OT & Saturdays as needed

What You'll Do

• Ensure all shipping materials (boxes, labels, packing supplies) are ready and available
• Clean and wipe down units before crating
• Crate/package units per specifications on the job sheets
• Work closely with the Quality Department to resolve any product issues before crating
• Communicate any product flaws or damage to your supervisor
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area

• Ability to stand and walk for most of the workday
• Ability to lift over 40 lbs safely
