Job summary

Pattison ID Management is seeking a hands-on warehouse worker to build and prepare wooden shipping crates to exact specs and load for transport. You will operate table saws, nail guns, and power tools safely, verify dimensions, and stage crates for shipment.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, reliable, and able to read a tape measure. Experience with forklift operation and inventory control is important for daily duties and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Experience with pneumatic and power tools is required.
• Must have experience reading a measuring tape.
• Perform basic visual quality inspections on products.
• Utilize power tools and various equipment as needed to perform duties.
• Able to operate a sit-down forklift.
• Experience in Inventory control.

Responsibilities

• Locate materials and supplies by pulling and verifying materials and supplies listed on work orders.
• Prepare and move products for shipment using a forklift and overhead cranes
• Perform duties such as manual lifting, packaging, taping, banding, labeling operations, and sorting
• Prepares finished product for shipment by identifying, pulling, packing, crating, loading, and securing product.
• Report defective materials or questionable conditions to supervisor
• Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follow safety policies

Job description

The ideal candidate is a hands-on, detail-oriented builder responsible for constructing custom wooden shipping crates to precise dimensions and ensuring products are safely prepared for transport. Previous experience using table saws, nail guns, staple guns, and other power tools is required.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Locate materials and supplies by pulling and verifying materials and supplies listed on work orders.
• Prepare and move products for shipment using a forklift and overhead cranes
• Perform duties such as manual lifting, packaging, taping, banding, labeling operations, and sorting
• Prepares finished product for shipment by identifying, pulling, packing, crating, loading, and securing product.

• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and distance vision.

  • 2:30pm - 11:30pm
  • Monday - Friday
  • Saturday when needed
