Job summary

Hörmann North America, a premier manufacturer of high-performance garage doors, is seeking a Crate Assembler I to assemble wooden crates and subassemblies used to ship products. You will use pneumatic nail guns, drills, and impact drivers, adhering to procedures and maintaining quality and safety.

In this entry-level role, you will support production orders, operate scanners and computers to track status, and adapt to other tasks as needed while working overtime when required.

Responsibilities

• Assemble wooden crates using pneumatic nail guns, drills, and/or impact drivers.
• Ensure crates are built to high quality by following procedures and approved processes.

• Fulfill production orders on time to meet delivery schedules.
• Use scanners and computers to communicate production order status.
• Suggest process improvements for safety, productivity, or efficiency.
