Job summary

Hörmann is a premier manufacturer of high performance garage doors. The Crate Assembler I will join our Burgettstown, PA operations, building crates and subassemblies for shipping products.

You will use hand tools, scanners, and basic drills to meet production orders while adhering to safety and quality standards. We value attention to detail, ability to work overtime when needed, and flexibility to move among tasks as required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Able to lift 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Willing to work overtime when needed.

Responsibilities

• Assemble wooden crates using pneumatic nail guns, drills, and/or impact drivers.
• Ensure crates meet quality standards per procedures.
• Operate scanners and computers to update production status.
• Provide feedback for process improvements focusing on safety, productivity, or efficiency.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and flex into other areas as needed.
• Meet production orders on time to ensure delivery.
