Job summary

Bigge Crane and Rigging is seeking a Crane Yard Technician in Hudson, CO. The role focuses on safely operating cranes and heavy equipment, performing on/off rent inspections, and supporting daily yard operations to ensure equipment readiness and safety compliance.

You will assist with crane assembly, perform preventive maintenance, and contribute to efficient fleet movement. The position requires outdoor work and a strong emphasis on teamwork and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Experience operating cranes or heavy equipment preferred.
• NCCCO certification (LBC/TLL) preferred but not required.
• Valid driver's license with clean record.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying conditions.

Responsibilities

• Operate cranes, forklifts, and haul equipment to load, unload, and move cranes and components.
• Perform on-rent and off-rent inspections and document equipment condition.
• Conduct preventative maintenance and basic mechanical repairs.
• Assist with crane assembly, disassembly, and configuration.
• Support rigging and proper lifting techniques.
• Maintain yard organization and equipment staging.
• Washing cranes as needed.
• Ensure safety procedures and company policies.
• Identify and report equipment issues proactively.
• Support general yard duties and logistics as needed.
