Job summary

Lift Solutions Holdings is hiring a Crane Technician to join the Cleveland, OH team. You will install, inspect, and service overhead cranes and hoists, perform OSHA-like inspections, and troubleshoot breakdowns on-site for diverse industrial customers.

The role requires 5+ years in crane/hoist troubleshooting, knowledge of 3-phase motors and VFDs, and the ability to work at height. A valid driver's license and independent work ethic are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years troubleshooting cranes and hoist equipment.
• Experience with 3-phase motors, VFDs, contactors, and circuits.
• Overhead crane and scissor lift experience required.
• Associate’s degree with concentration in Industrial Electrician or Electro-Mechanical Technology preferred.
• Ability to work at height in extreme conditions; physically demanding role.
• Ability to work independently and communicate status clearly.

Responsibilities

• Install, inspect, test and service overhead crane systems and hoists.
• Perform OSHA-equivalent inspections and warranty work; troubleshoot breakdowns.
• Provide preventive maintenance and respond to emergency service calls.
• Interface with customers and office to repair equipment as needed.
• Make electrical and/or mechanical adjustments; work with or without drawings.
• Document actions with forms, reports, and checklists.
• Maintain professional presentation, timeliness, and organization.
• Develop knowledge of applicable codes for cranes and hoists.
• Safely manage company equipment, tools, and vehicle.
