Job summary

Interstate Assembly Systems in Marshfield, Wisconsin seeks a Crane Service Technician to maintain, diagnose, and repair IMT, Fassi, Palfinger, Prentice cranes and service trucks. You will handle hydraulic and electrical systems, perform preventive maintenance, and minimize downtime for fleet customers.

The role requires strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and commitment to top-notch service. Prior experience in automotive or heavy equipment mechanics is preferred.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in automotive or heavy equipment mechanics.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with Lean Methodologies preferred.
• Experience with material handling equipment such as forklifts and reach lifts.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to lift 25–50lbs routinely; occasionally lift over 50lbs.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair crane service equipment.
• Diagnose, repair, adjust, and modify heavy-duty components.
• Positive interface with service writers, foreman, parts department, and customers.
• Keep paperwork updated and handed in upon completion.
• Meet requirements for certifications.
• Administrative duties as related to position.
