Job summary

Ring Power Corporation seeks a skilled technician to maintain essential tools and service equipment in a safe, orderly manner. You will repair or replace defective parts, disassemble and reassemble components, test and diagnose failures, and prepare quotes and service documentation.

You will work under guidance of a senior technician, monitor expenses against estimates, and stay current with industry changes while ensuring accurate records and customer-focused service.

Qualifications

• Formal Education: High School diploma or GED.
• Experience: 3-4 years in related field.
• Must have a valid Class E Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Maintains a minimum set of tools required for job performance.
• Repairs or replaces defective parts on machinery and equipment.
• Disassembles components and cleans parts; inspects for reuse to control costs.
• Tests, diagnoses and adjusts equipment failures; prepares repair estimates.
• Submits quotes, prepares parts requisitions, time cards, and service reports with detail for accounting.
• Works under guidance of a qualified technician in disassembly, repair, re-assembly and testing.
• Monitors expenses vs. estimates; communicates cost overages to lead person.
• Maintains technical literature and stays aware of industry changes.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
