Job summary

American Equipment Holdings (AEH) is seeking an Experienced Crane Service Technician to join our Casper, WY area team. This Level 1 to Master level path offers hands-on field service, inspections, diagnostics, repairs, and installations on overhead cranes and hoists, with advancement based on skill and performance.

The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, experience with AC control circuits and VFDs, the ability to read schematics, and a valid driver's

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; technical training preferred.
• Experience in crane service or industrial maintenance.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Able to read manuals, schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to work at heights.

Responsibilities

• Performs inspections, maintenance, and repairs on overhead cranes and hoists per OEM and OSHA standards.
• Troubleshoots AC control circuits and 3‑motion cranes with VFDs or contactor controls.
• Diagnoses mechanical components such as wheels, bearings, and reducers.
• Rigs up and installs new crane/hoist equipment with proper safety procedures.
• Maintains service records and communicates repair plans with customers.
