Job summary

Morgan Engineering Systems Inc. seeks a full-time Crane Service Manager to join our field team. You will assemble, install, wire, and commission industrial overhead cranes at customer sites across the United States, and perform preventative maintenance and inspections.

The role requires 3–5 years in crane service, strong mechanical and electrical knowledge, and the ability to travel 75–90% with overnight stays. A valid driver’s license and OSHA crane-safety familiarity are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3–5 years crane service or maintenance experience.
• Welding experience is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Ability to read blueprints and use metrological instruments.
• Familiarity with OSHA regulations and crane safety standards.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Ability to travel 75–90% of the time, including overnight stays.
• Must pass a background check and drug screening.
• Must be 21 years or older.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, install, wire, and commission Morgan industrial overhead cranes at customer sites nationwide.
• Perform preventative maintenance and inspections on overhead cranes.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical systems, including AC and DC electrical components.
• Work in field-based environments including industrial sites and manufacturing facilities.
• Safely operate at heights and heavy equipment in varying weather conditions.
