Job summary

Mazzella in Winston-Salem, NC, seeks an experienced Crane Estimator to develop accurate cost estimates for overhead crane components, parts, and assemblies. You will review drawings, BOMs, ERP data, and field notes to produce timely quotations that meet customer requirements.

The role collaborates with Sales, Production, Engineering, and Purchasing to ensure competitive pricing and workable scopes. A minimum of 3 years in crane estimating or related fields and a high school diploma are required,

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of crane service, crane estimating, industrial equipment estimating, parts sales, manufacturing, or related field.
Ability to interpret engineering drawings, BOMs, manuals, electrical schematics, and technical documents.
Experience navigating ERP systems, databases, network storage systems, and historical project records.

Responsibilities

Identify replacement components from customer records, drawings, BOMs, and ERP data.
Develop accurate quotations for replacement parts, assemblies, and replacements.
Review labor requirements for installation, startup, and commissioning activities.
Support sales with technical pricing information and budgetary quotations.
Coordinate with engineering, production, purchasing, and estimating to ensure timely responses.
