Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required with college experience preferred.
• Related college degree or directly related crane-industry experience may offset degree requirements.

Responsibilities

• Design electrical systems by selecting, developing, and testing components.
• Evaluate electrical systems and applications through research and testing.
• Confirm capabilities and compatibility by determining testing methods.
• Develop electrical products by studying customer requirements and manufacturing methods.
• Develop manufacturing processes by designing equipment for building electrical components and assembling them.
• Assure product quality by designing testing methods and testing finished products.
• Prepare performance reports by collecting and summarizing data and trends.
• Maintain product database by querying and entering data.
• Complete projects by training technicians and maintaining knowledge.
