Job summary

Triad Metals International on Neville Island in Pittsburgh is seeking a Crane Operator to manage order processing on the warehouse floor using an overhead crane, and to handle shipments and receiving with safety and accuracy.

The ideal candidate will be able to stand for long periods, work in seasonal conditions, and apply basic warehouse paperwork; experience with a warehouse management system and forklift is a plus.

Qualifications

• Overhead crane operation or related experience.
• Familiarity with warehouse paperwork.
• Knowledge of warehouse management systems.
• Experience operating power equipment and forklift.
• Ability to bend, stand, reach, pull, and lift.

Responsibilities

Overview

Crane Operator

Triad Metals International is a privately held, independent company established in 1987. Our mission emphasizes strong relationships with teammates, vendors, and customers to achieve maximum efficiency in operations and service. The position is on the warehouse floor, processing orders via overhead crane, sending and accepting shipments, and maintaining a clean and safe warehouse. The role is located on Neville Island in Pittsburgh.

The ideal candidate may work in environments that vary with seasons (cold and hot) and must be able to stand for long periods while fulfilling orders, working safely and efficiently.

Successful Candidates will have:

• Prior experience working with overhead cranes is a plus but not required
• Prior knowledge of warehouse paperwork is preferred
• Familiarity with a warehouse management system
• Experience operating certain power equipment and a forklift is a plus
• Ability to bend, stand, reach, pull, and lift

Qualifications/Required Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred
