Job summary

Harvard Integrations LP is seeking a skilled crane operator with rigging expertise to assemble and move metal cabinets, enclosures, bases, and components. You will coordinate crane operations with production, conduct inspections, and maintain safety standards.

The role requires certification maintenance, basic math proficiency, and the ability to work with team members to meet production needs while remaining compliant with safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred; equivalent experience acceptable.
• Experience operating bridge cranes and advanced rigging.
• Ability to use basic hand tools, power tools, tape measure, grinders, and saws safely.
• Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions.
• Requires good judgment, and ability to work with others and perform other tasks as assigned.
• Experience operating a forklift preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate bridge cranes and coordinate with production staff to schedule crane movements.
• Perform all crane movements within the facility, including loading completed buildings on trailers.
• Maintain crane operator certification and ensure compliance with safety guidelines.
• Conduct pre-operation inspections of rigging and lifting equipment; monitor crane condition.
• Analyze loads to ensure crane capacities and rigging are safe for each operation.
• Serve as the go-to person for site rigging and loading questions and resolve issues promptly.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area and follow safety protocols.
