Job summary

SpaceX Texas Test Site seeks an experienced Crane Operator to support Starship and Falcon programs. You will lift and place flight hardware and ground support equipment with diverse cranes, performing inspections, rigging, and maintenance.

Candidates must have NCCCO Crane Operator Certification, a high school diploma, and 5+ years of crawler or hydraulic crane experience (or 2+ years plus 3+ years rigging). OSHA-compliant safety mindset required for extreme outdoor environments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; NCCCO crane operator certification mandatory.
• 5+ years of crawler/hydraulic crane operation; or 2+ years plus 3+ years as certified rigger.
• Must meet ITAR and SpaceX policy requirements for site access.

Responsibilities

• Lift and precisely place loads such as flight hardware and ground support equipment.
• Tilt, turn, and maneuver suspended loads using multipoint suspension techniques.
• Operate RT, crawler, lattice, and hydraulic cranes across site operations.
• Evaluate and perform complex lifts with high weight/height or multi-crane setups.
• Perform daily and monthly crane inspections and maintenance.
• Inspect, procure, and replace lifting and rigging equipment on site.
• Assist fabrication/test teams with overhead crane operations.
• Assist with rigging, forklifts, and related tasks when not operating cranes.
