Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Crane Operator for the 2nd shift at our Texas Test Site. You will lift and place unique loads such as flight hardware and equipment, operating rough terrain, crawler, lattice, and hydraulic cranes to support Starship and Falcon programs.

Responsibilities include lifts, inspections, maintenance, rigging management, and collaboration with fabrication/test teams. NCCCO certification and 5+ years crane experience required, with rigorous safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency is required.
• NCCCO Crane Operator Certification is required.
• 5+ years operating crawler and hydraulic cranes; or 2+ years plus 3+ years as a certified rigger.

Responsibilities

• Lift and place loads such as flight hardware and construction materials.
• Operate RT, crawler, lattice, and hydraulic cranes.
• Inspect, maintain, and rig equipment for site operations.
• Assist fabrication/test teams with overhead crane ops.
• Perform rigging and forklift tasks as needed.

Skills

NCCCO Crane Operator Certification

5+ years crane operation experience

Rigging experience with certified rIG-

Experience with crawler, RT, lattice,/

Ability to perform high-weight/height,

Strong inspection and maintenance know

Communication of lifting signals

Education
