Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a skilled Crane Operator for the 2nd shift in Texas. You will lift and place unique loads like flight hardware and construction materials with high precision, and operate various crane types including RT, crawler, lattice, and hydraulic cranes.

You will perform lifts with complex constraints, conduct routine inspections, assist with rigging and forklifts, and collaborate with fabrication and test teams to support spaceflight programs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency certificate.
• NCCCO Crane Operator Certification.
• 5+ years of crane operation experience with crawler/hydraulic cranes, or 2+ years with 3+ years as a certified rigger.

Responsibilities

• Lift and precisely place loads with cranes, including flight hardware and construction materials.
• Tilt, turn, and flip loads using multipoint suspension techniques.
• Operate rough terrain, crawler, lattice, and hydraulic cranes.
• Perform inspections and maintenance on cranes and equipment.
• Assist fabrication and test teams with crane operations and rigging as needed.
