Job summary

Clyde Operator is seeking a skilled crane operator in Portland, OR to safely operate Clyde and Washington cranes and manage crane loads with precision. You will learn names and locations of parts, follow instructions, and maintain high safety standards in a production environment around heavy equipment.

Required are crane operating/rigger experience, strong communication, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Overtime and exposure to industrial conditions may apply.

Qualifications

• Must learn to inspect and safely operate all four Gunderson portal gantry cranes.
• Must follow radio commands explicitly.
• Understand and follow oral and written instructions.
• Maintain safe work practices and be aware of hazards.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the safe operation and control of the crane and loads.
• Report safety concerns in a timely manner.
• Fill orders for steel.
• Inspect crane and cab and complete inspection form.
