Job summary

Leggett & Platt Incorporated seeks a Crane Operator for our foam production line in Fort Smith, AR. The role moves and organizes buns, pulls them for shipping, and operates a crane to place buns on the shipping line, ensuring correct order and quality.

Responsibilities include scanning inventory, recording reclassifications, maintaining safety, and assisting with daily/monthly inventory while keeping the area clean and organized.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED or equivalent required.
• Crane operator license required.
• Crane operator/pouring physical required and annually thereafter.

Responsibilities

• Move and organize buns during foam production and store using an overhead crane.
• At beginning of shift, obtain Drop List and directions for buns to be shipped.
• Lift buns by crane onto the shipping line, ensuring correct order and quality.
• Scan buns from and to inventory locations and record any reclassifications.
• Follow safe operating procedures when operating crane and maintain good housekeeping.
• Assist with daily and monthly inventory and communicate with supervisor.
