Job summary

CL Construction LLC in Lincoln, NE is seeking a skilled Crane Operator to support our Millwright division. You will safely lift, hoist, and set equipment, conveyors, and structural steel for agricultural, industrial, and manufacturing projects across the region.

You must have crane operation and rigging experience, with a valid NCCCO certification preferred. This role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and precision on complex installs, with opportunities for growth within a safety-driven company.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of crane operating experience in industrial, millwright, agricultural, or metal building environments.
• Strong rigging knowledge and experience with complex lifts.
• Valid crane operator certification (NCCCO or equivalent strongly preferred).
• Understanding of load charts, lift plans and safe hoisting procedures.
• Ability to work outdoors and at heights; mechanical aptitude for basic troubleshooting and inspections.

Responsibilities

• Operate cranes to lift, move, and set equipment, conveyors, and structural steel for millwright and metal building projects.
• Assist with rigging activities, including selecting, inspecting, and setting up slings, chains, chokers, and other rigging gear.
• Coordinate lifts with signalpersons, foremen, and crew members to ensure safe operations.
• Conduct routine equipment inspections and safety checks.
• Follow all OSHA, NCCCO, and company safety protocols on every project.
• Support other field operations and equipment needs as assigned.
