Barnhart is hiring a Crane Operator to join a nationwide team that builds, lifts, and moves heavy components across multiple industries. You will operate cranes from boom trucks to 600-ton equipment and participate in rigging, heavy haul projects, and transport operations.

Qualifications

• CDL Class A certification
• NCCCO certification(s)
• Strong commitment to safety and communication on job sites
• Preferred: experience operating AT, hydraulic, or boom truck cranes
• Preferred: experience in rigging or heavy haul operations
• TWIC card
• Ability to work day/night shifts, weekends, or holidays
• Willingness to travel occasionally for field work

Responsibilities

• Operate cranes ranging from boom trucks to 600-ton equipment
• Perform daily lifting operations, primarily running cranes
• Support crane assembly, rigging, and heavy haul projects
• Work across plants, wind farms, and local taxi jobs
• Assist with transport operations including trucks, trailers, and specialized equipment
• Help ensure safe lifting through load control and communication with rigging crews
