Job Title: Crane Operator-Laborer

Responsibilities:

1. Operate cranes safely and efficiently, selecting and attaching proper lifting gear.
2. Participate in ongoing training to mentor less experienced crane operators.
3. Conduct daily pre-operational inspections and identify maintenance needs.
4. Follow specific instructions with minimal supervision, adhering to regulatory standards and industry guidelines.
5. Apply comprehensive knowledge of crane and rigging equipment, including interpreting load charts.
6. Use required PPE in compliance with OSHA standards and respond to verbal commands.
7. Read, comprehend, and write simple instructions, memos, and correspondence.
8. Follow all safety, environmental, and company regulations.

Qualifications:

1. At least 1 year of experience as an overhead crane operator.
2. Knowledge of USA standard hand signals.
3. Physical ability to stand, walk, manipulate tools, reach, climb, balance, and work at heights above 12’.
4. Ability to lift, push, or pull 50 lbs frequently.
5. Visual and auditory skills to respond to commands and operate safely.
6. Ability to utilize PPE safely per OSHA standards.
